4 MORE SLEEPS

...i'm just too excited about Glastonbury to not style up a few outfits. I love getting dressed up for festivals..there's just no rules and everyone is too freespirited to judge you on your fashion choices (unless you rock up wearing heels, never good.)

My festival style isn't about the hippy boho look that magazines real off every year and my number one fashion hates of the summer festivals have got to be flower head garlands and Hunter wellies.

On that note, Maxi Dresses..nightmare:Unless you want to be trailing empty beer cans, cigarette butts and paper plates in your hemline. Sandals...OUCH: You will end up with broken toes, very dirty feet and have you looked at this weather!

So here's my take on the Glastonbury look...

Vintage Denim Jacket
Neon Cambridge Satchel Company Bag
A Waterproof and Warm Parka
Round Shades
Worn In DMs

Feathers in one ear
A Vintage Bumbag...perfectly clinches your waist too.
Topshop Unique Archive Surfboard Dress LOVE
Fine Knitwear to Layer

Texture Clashes
Lots of Sweet Shorts
American Apparel Bandeaus
Sheer Layers
A Roomy Vintage Rucksack
Headgear! Turbans and Floppy Hats

BEATS

Just some of my favourite tracks at the moment...

OK so maybe one is a bit of a guilty pleasure...and I definatly haven't been listing to it on repeat as I countdown to Glastonbury.

CRUSH M.O.P

This brand came onto my radar a few months ago and it's gotta be time to spread the word. Mother Of Pearl is a luxury label which merges amazing and intricate surface pattern and high fashion with the functionality of sportswear. The line is created by Maia Norman, the long term partner of one of my most admired British artists Damien Hirst, Maia's designs in fashion are just as striking and individual as the works of Hirst so bold yet seemingly non-plussed the looks are totally unforced with strength lying in simplicity and technicality.

Her website is great too...check it out 'ERE. I put together a little collection of snaps which demonstrate what it is that I love so much about Mother Of Pearl, hope you like it too.

IOW

Would have loved to have been at Isle Of White this weekend...it always seems like the quintessentially British Rock festival, one main stage packed with the bands of the moment. Plus this year the festival played host to Kate Moss's star studded hen do. It was a major washout but I was still on the look out for the best looks this morning...here are my favourite looks from Vogue and LOOK Mag.

This time next week i'll be packing for Glastonbury and trying to learn all the words to Beyonce's Greatist Hits, reallllly hope I won't have to be packing my raincoat and wellies, i'd much rather be stressing about DM tanlines and aftersun.

STOLEN GIRLFRIENDS CLUB

The relaxed feminine style of their Heavy Petal collection is exactly what I want to be wearing this summer while I busy myself with side projects as well as uni's summer project. The collection is designed by three guys, that makes it so much more appealing to me, it's what guys want to see women wearing..a perfect balance of womanly allure and relaxed nonchalance. Here's a few of my favourite looks...

Serious adoration for this video too, I love how the mundane setting on a supermarket seems so vibrant and can work so well tonally with the garments whilst offsetting the stunning otherworldly models, very inspirational.
