The looks at LFW continued to come thick and fast today....including Topshop Unique, perhaps my most anticipated show...
Acne
A brand I keep my eye on and always seem to covert: More Ochre, sumptuous fabrics, patchworked metallics, industrial femininity, slouchy dropped waists, tone on tone colour, still an air of 1970's.
House of Holland
Amazing Interpretation of Grandma Chic: Love the crocket shawls and oversized scarf, budgerigar prints..bingo ball prints, loads of pearls, bold orange, fur trims, pleating, ladylike tailoring, Royal Family meets Acid House, pop socks and shoes, a tiny bit 1940's with colour thrown at it.
Jonathan Saunders
So much colour: Tropical prints, glossy fabrics, jewel like colour, 1st Lady, print clash, Winter exotics, prim but bold, geometry, seperates, colour blocking.
Mulberry
Another brand I always love: Serious colour matching, natural elements, new shearling, ladylike, bulky outerwear, the brightest tones against neutrals, 1970's Preppy.
Topshop Unique
FAVOURITE SO FAR: 101 Dalmations, city influences, monocromatic, the cutest styling (Katie Grand), Cruella, childhood, collars and neck ties, amazing repeat patterns (check out the toy cars!!), sailor girl, hide and PEEP cut outs. I just want to roll in it.
Vivienne Westwood Red Label
Queen Viv: More senile referencing, crazy craft, pattern clashing, the most covertable Red Nose Day tee's ever?!, rollers and rain caps, prim and proper, Royalty, texture, high gloss, fur, thrift finds, busy neck details.
Winter is looking great...and it's safe to say yellow in all of it's guises is sticking around.
